Revised TTA Tool Codebook and CSV Batch Upload Template Now Available on SPARS

SAMHSA has revised the Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Program Monitoring Tool. On September 29, 2023, an announcement was posted to SPARS (click here) that includes information about the specific TTA Tool revisions. Beginning January 1, 2024, grantees must use the revised TTA GPRA Post Event Form (GPRA-PEF) and revised TTA GPRA Follow-Up Form (GPRA-FU) for data collection, batch upload, and reporting.

Updated TTA Tool data entry and batch upload resources are now available on the SPARS website. Grantees will be able to enter or upload TTA data into SPARS for the revised TTA tool beginning on January 4, 2024. The updated TTA resources have titles that begin with the prefix: “NEW AS OF 1/4/2024” and can be found on the resources area of SPARS:

• TTA Codebook 
• TTA Post Event Form CSV (comma separated values) upload template 
• TTA Follow-Up Form CSV (comma separated values) upload template

Grantees should continue to use the current Codebook, and CSV Batch Upload Templates (Post Event Form, Follow-Up Form) for data entry and batch upload through January 3, 2024. Beginning January 4, 2024, data entry and batch upload using the new resources can begin for data captured using the revised tool. The TTA Event Description Form CSV (comma separated values) upload template remains unchanged.

Additionally, a CSV Batch Upload Training for all SAMHSA Centers is now available for grantees new to batch upload.
