SPARS Help Desk Requests

SPARS recently transitioned contractors and we are working diligently to address the challenges that have emerged that impact the Help Desk services. Significant steps have been taken to improve the responsiveness and effectiveness of the Help Desk service to ensure there are no gaps in the quality of the service provided to our users.

In an effort to assist the SPARS Help Desk Team resolve requests in an efficient and effective manner, please:

  • Provide the grant number when submitting a request to the SPARS Help Desk.
  • For new grants, consult with your GPO to ensure they have informed the SPARS contractor that a new grant should be established in SPARS. Once that notification occurs, the Project Director will be provided a Grantee Information Request Form.
  • Have the Project Director submit a fully complete Grantee Information Request Form to add grantee staff to SPARS.
  • Ensure you have GPO approval for any requested changes to the Project Director for a grant.

Thank you for your patience as we manage the significant volume of help desk requests associated with the new grant awards and extensions of existing grants. We are working hard to make sure you have the support needed to access and utilize SPARS for reporting timely and accurate data to SAMHSA.
