SUPRT-A/C and CSAT Updates

News

The SPARS system was updated to improve performance for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Unified Performance Reporting Tools (SUPRT)- Administrative (SUPRT-A) and Client (SUPRT-C), and the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) system.

SPARS users will experience the following improvements:

SUPRT-A/C

  • Bug fixes for reported data download discrepancies were deployed, along with updated versions of the SUPRT-A/C Codebooks (SUPRT-A and SUPRT-C). Updates were deployed for the following data download fields to ensure consistency with any uploaded SUPRT-A/C data:
    • CurrentlyPregnant
    • MHDiagnosis and No_MHDiagnosis values
    • SUDDiagnosis and No_SUDDiagnosis values
    • OtherHealth and No_OtherHealth values
    • ScreenDepression, ScreenAnxiety, ScreenBipolar, ScreenPsychosis, ScreenTrama, ScreenDevelopmental, and ScreenBehavioral
  • A bug fix was deployed to prevent GPRA client discharges from incorrectly triggering Annual Assessments as due in SUPRT-A/C.

Tableau Reports

  • CMHS, CSAP, and CSAT legacy grants and grantees were migrated to the Cross-Center environment, providing access to available Tableau reports.
  • Grantee users can now access available Tableau reports and view data only for grants they are authorized to access in SPARS. Reports are filtered by grant, and users will see only applicable report tiles. Reports are available from the Integrated Reports link under Quick Links on the SPARS homepage or from the Reports tab in the Cross-Center site.
    • Values in the SUPRT-A/C grant dashboard may differ from those in Tableau reports because the reports apply default filters. The Client Response Status and Rate Report Guide is being updated to explain these differences. Watch the announcements page for notice when the updated guide is available.

CSAT

  • SOR/TOR Section A and Section B data entry tool was updated in SPARS to remain OMB-compliant.
  • The CSAT main reports page was updated to include a link to the available Tableau reports.
