The SPARS system was updated to improve performance for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Unified Performance Reporting Tools (SUPRT)- Administrative (SUPRT-A) and Client (SUPRT-C) and Minority AIDs Initiative-Pilot Program Online Reporting Tool (MAI-PORT).
SPARS users will experience the following improvements:
- The duplicate SUPRT reassessments generated through the batch upload process have been removed for impacted grantees. The SUPRT batch upload process was modified to no longer generate these duplicate assessments.
- SUPRT assessments with a due date window ending before 10/1/2025 will no longer be generated in Cross-Center.
- GPOs can now approve grant access requests for their assigned grants.
- The MAI-PORT GPO review and approval of workflow issues have been resolved.
- The MAI-PORT Quarterly Performance Report (QPR) issue preventing grantees from submitting their reports has been resolved.
- CSAP test grants were removed from the SPARS system.
- CSAP MAI QPR and work plan exports have been updated to match the SPARS data entry system.
