SAMHSA Unified Performance Reporting Tools - Administrative (SUPRT-A) and Client (SUPRT-C)

The SPARS system was updated to improve performance for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Unified Performance Reporting Tools (SUPRT)- Administrative (SUPRT-A) and Client (SUPRT-C).  

SPARS users will experience the following improvements:    

SUPRT-A/C 

  • Updated the batch upload process with the following fixes:
    • Addressed a reassessment window validation check when client reassessment was 150 days post baseline.
    • Addressed reported inconsistencies between a batch upload file and the created error reports.
    • When batch uploading SUPRT-A/C files, closeout records must be uploaded last and in a separate file from baselines, reassessments, and annuals. Batch upload resources are being updated and will be posted when they become available.  

SOR/TOR Data Download 

  • The SPARS data download feature now allows users to download SOR/TOR Section A and Section B data. Grantees whose grants collect SOR/TOR data, and their GPOs, will see these options in the “Dataset type” dropdown of the data download page. 

 

Tableau Reports 

  • SOR/TOR Section B data is now available in the Program Level Performance Report.
  • The SUPRT-A/C Frequency and SUPRT-A/C Outcomes Reports are now available for GPOs and SAMHSA staff. Reporting guides will be posted once they become available.  

Resources 

  • Updated versions of the SUPRT-A and SUPRT-C Codebooks were posted to SPARS.
