SAMHSA Unified Performance Reporting Tools - Administrative (SUPRT-A) and Client (SUPRT-C)

The SPARS system has been updated to improve functionality for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Unified Performance Reporting Tools (SUPRT)— Administrative (SUPRT-A) and Client (SUPRT-C).
SPARS users will experience the following improvements:
SUPRT-A/C
The SUPRT-A/C data download feature is now available. Grantees and GPOs can access data download by navigating to the “Data Download” button on the left ribbon. Instructions for downloading data are provided on screen. Downloaded data files follow the existing SUPRT-A and SUPRT-C codebook format. Once files are requested and become available for download, SPARS will notify users via email.
Note that data entered into SPARS may not appear immediately in the downloadable file due to processing time. Users will only be able to view and download files that they personally request.

- An additional validation check has been added to the “Delete Client” feature to prevent users from deleting clients in SUPRT if the corresponding client record still exists in legacy system. If a client originated in GPRA or NOMs, the client should be first deleted in the legacy system before it can be deleted in SUPRT.
