SPARS News Data Edition for February 2026

SPARS News, Issue 52, highlights a series of recently released SAMHSA statistical profiles that draw on SPARS data to present national snapshots of behavioral health services, prevention efforts, and system capacity. These profiles translate grantee-reported data into accessible summaries of services delivered, populations served, and outcomes reported across SAMHSA-funded initiatives. 

In addition, this issue reinforces important reminders about protecting personally identifiable information (PII) when contacting the SPARS Help Desk and provides a timely overview of the SPARS Technical Support Request System (TSRS), which connects grantees and GPOs with expert assistance to strengthen data collection, reporting, and use. Finally, this issue includes tips for deciding when to submit a support request via TSRS and when to contact the SPARS Help Desk.
