SPARS Minority AIDS Initiative Pilot Online Reporting Tool (MAI-PORT) Now Available in SPARS!

As of Monday, June 23, 2025, the new SPARS Minority AIDS Initiative Pilot Online Reporting Tool (MAI-PORT) (https://spars.samhsa.gov/cross-center/) is now available through the “MAI-PORT” link under the Quick Links section of the SPARS homepage (https://spars.samhsa.gov/). The MAI-PORT will allow pilot grantees to submit data for the Annual Target Report (ATR) and the Organizational Readiness Assessment (ORA) work plans.
Project Directors and Government Project Officers will automatically be granted access to pilot grants prior to June 25, 2025. To grant access to additional grantee staff, all pilot Project Directors are required to submit the ‘Add / Remove SPARS Users Request’ form (https://spars.samhsa.gov/content/spars-add-or-remove-user-request-form-1) to the SPARSHelpDesk@mathematica-mpr.com once the start date of the official budget period listed on your Notice of Award (NOA) has passed.
For everyone’s awareness, the SPARS portal will be undergoing routine scheduled maintenance soon, which may prevent grantees from accessing SPARS during a limited timeframe. Announcements will be posted to the SPARS homepage (https://spars.samhsa.gov/) prior to the scheduled maintenance and after access to MAI-PORT ATR and ORA data entry and submission resume.
If you have questions, please contact the SPARS Help Desk via email, SPARSHelpDesk@mathematica-mpr.com or by phone, 800-685-7623, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.
