New SPARS CSAP Improvements Released on March 19, 2018

New FOAs for FR-CARA (First Responders – Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act Cooperative Agreement) and OD Treatment Access (Improving Access to Overdose Treatment) were added to SPARS CSAP. The CSAP dashboard and reports were updated to accommodate the new FOAs.

Per a decision from SAMHSA, the MAI Indirect Services Outcomes (ISO) data entry is no longer required for MAI grantees and was decommissioned in SPARS. The ISO functionality (including menu options) was removed from the user interface, but the data was retained.

Data validations were added for the MAI Dosages data import and the MAI data entry to ensure accurate data in SPARS CSAP.

GPOs can now search for a Grantee Name using only part of the name for the Work Plan Report filter and the Progress Report filter. This allows GPOs to easily identify and select the grantee record.

An Administrative module was added for SPARS Help Desk agents to be able to serve SPARS users more efficiently. In this module, agents can assign/reassign GPOs to grant awards and search for users by their names or email addresses.
