CSAT grantees can save their data as they enter records in SPARS
The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) has implemented a new incremental save feature to enhance grantees’ experience entering data collected using the CSAT Client Outcome Measures Tool.
Beginning August 1, 2024, CSAT grantees can save their CSAT GPRA client-level data as they enter records into SPARS; previously grantees had to complete all data entry for a given record before saving and submitting each record. This feature empowers users to enter data without running the risk of significant data loss; by saving data as they are entered, users can pause data entry mid-record and pick up where they left off at any time. Note that records must be fully completed and submitted in order to be included in CSAT data downloads and online reports and count toward grantee goals.
This new feature changes how users navigate the online data entry screens for the CSAT GPRA client-level tool. We strongly encourage CSAT users that enter data online in SPARS to review the following training and resources to learn about these changes:
After reviewing the above training and resources, if you have questions about this new feature please contact the SPARS Help Desk via email, SPARSHelpDesk@mathematica-mpr.com or by phone, 800-685-7623, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.
